Firefighters battle fire at Old Bullard Crossing Apartments

UPDATE: 8:20 AM - Firefighters still don't know what caused this morning's 2-alarm fire at Old Bullard Crossing Apartments.

Neighbors called 9-1-1 saying they saw smoke coming out of one of the units. Firefighters say they found a couch on fire inside the apartment. The homeowners were not home at the time, but firefighters say the unit was heavily damaged.

Nearby units were briefly evacuated because of the fire, but so far no injuries have been reported.


KYTX (TYLER) - Fire crews are fighting a fire at the Old Bullard Crossing Apartments ... that's at 5105 Old Bullard Road in Tyler.

Right now, all we know is the fire started around 7 this morning. No word yet on how many units were involved or if there are any injuries. We have a crew headed to the scene and will bring you updates as they become available.
