TRINITY COUNTY (KYTX) -  According to Shari Pulliam, spokeswoman for Child Protective Services, Savannah Hurley, 11, has been found safe about half-a-mile from where she was taken.

Savannah's mother, Shelley Hurley was arrested and taken to Trinity County jail. Her charge is not yet known.

Officials found Savannah in Trinity Cove subdivision, which is about half-a-mile from where she was taken Monday. Pulliam said the girl was "absolutely unharmed but visibly shaken an upset."

She said plans to place her into  foster care are in motion.

About 10 p.m. Monday, Trinity County Sheriff's officials  said  they arrested Savannah's grandmother. Patricia Rutledge is being held for interfering with child custody.

Police say her mom abducted her as Child Protective Services came to take Savannah from her. According to police, Hurley is a known drug user and threatened to run over a CPS worker while abducting the child.
