Longview apartment fire displaces two families

LONGVIEW (KYTX) - Two families are displaced from their homes tonight after a fire in a Longview apartment complex earlier this afternoon.

The Longview Fire Chief say the fire appeared to have started in the kitchen of a unit in the Magnolia Ridge Apartments.

Firefighters got to the scene just in time to prevent the fire from spreading to surrounding

Apartments.

The Longview Fire Department says no one was home during the time of the fire, and no one was hurt.
