RUSK COUNTY (TYLER MORNING TELEGRAPH) - A 37-year-old Houston man died in a one-vehicle rollover in Rusk County Wednesday evening.

Trooper David Haney, with the Texas Department of Public Safety, said the accident occurred at 8:40 p.m. on Farm-to-Market Road 839, north of Reklaw.

Haney said a man was driving southbound in a silver pickup truck when the vehicle went off the west side of the roadway. He said the man was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle, which rolled on top of him. He died at the scene.

A 19-year-old male passenger from the Reklaw area also was injured in the accident. Haney said he was taken to East Texas Medical Center - Jacksonville and was listed in stable condition as of 11:30 p.m.

Hanley said the accident is still under investigation and a toxicology report was ordered.

The man's name was not released pending notification of next of kin.
