UPDATE: (KYTX) - Thursday, December 6, 2012, Tyler Police, Fire and EMS responded to the intersection of S. Broadway and Heritage around 12 p.m. on a motorcycle - vehicle crash. 

The rider of the 2006 Suzuki, identified as 20-year-old Dillon Shelton of Tyler, was traveling north bound on S. Broadway in the outside lane entering the intersection of Heritage. 

The driver of a 2007 Chevy Tahoe, identified as 63-year-old Pam Davis of Kilgore, was traveling south bound on S. Broadway attempting to make a U-Turn in the intersection of Heritage. 

The Motorcycle struck the front of the Tahoe resulting in serious injury to the motorcycle operator.  Accident Investigators are on the scene and will determine who was at fault upon completion of the investigation. 

The motorcycle operator was transported to East Texas Medical Center and is in critical condition.  The driver of the Tahoe and passenger were not injured.

 


 

TYLER (KYTX) - Tyler Police and emergency responders are on the scene of a traffic accident involving a motorcycle and a SUV in Tyler.

The accident happened at the intersection of Heritage and Broadway shortly before noon.

Tyler Police are asking commuters to avoid Heritage until further notice.

KYTX CBS 19 has a crew on the scene and will bring more updates as they become available.
