Posted: Updated:

(KYTX) - East Texas children are getting the chance to catch a ride to the North Pole.

The "North Pole Express" is put on by the Longview World of Wonders.

It features singing and dancing, hot cocoa, a visit from Santa, a walk through a winter wonderland and a miniature train display.

"The part I do is I'm a speaking elf and there's a thermometer. The kids get on the train they serve hot chocolate, they get a bell from Santa, the Christmas magic needed to help Santa is running dangerously low so they have to try to help get it back."

THE EVENT WILL BE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AT THE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH THIS FRIDAY AND SATURDAY EVENINGS.

TICKETS ARE $7.50 FOR CHILDREN AND $5 FOR ADULTS.
