TransCanada temporarily ordered to stop construction of pipeline in Nacogdoches

Posted: Updated:

NACOGDOCHES (KYTX) - Texas County Court at Law Judge Jack Sinz tells CBS 19 that he signed an injunction to temporarily stop TransCanada from constructing part of an oil pipeline on the property of Michael Bishop in Nacogdoches County.

Sinz decision is based on Bishop's argument that the company was dishonest about what substance would be pushed through the pipes as far as crude oil or tar sands oil.

A hearing with both sides has been scheduled for 8:15 a.m. Thursday, December 13 according to Judge Sinz.
