We live in the South, so some of us may have a Southern accent, but would you consider saying "goodbye" to "howdy, y'all"?
The Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee was going to offer a speech class for its workers next month to do just that, until it got canceled.

NORTH TEXAS (CBSDFW.COM) – Emergency crews and investigators remain at the scene of a plane crash near the border of Kaufman and Ellis County.

Video from Chopper 11 showed the limited burned out remains of what was a fixed-wing aircraft.  CBS 11 News sources have confirmed two people were on the plane. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) spokesman Lynn Lunsford said, "Both are assumed killed in the accident."

Hours after the crash officials learned that the plane was a single-engine L-29 Delfin and was previously a military operated plane. "It was an aircraft that had formerly been a military trainer, but has since transferred to private hands and is used for personal aircraft," Lunsford explained. The plane is now owned by a private company in Dallas.

The plane went down along the Trinity River on Highway 34, just west of Rosser.

Minutes after the plane went down Lunsford said, "It appears… that the aircraft is destroyed and that there is a fire after the crash." It didn't take long for fire crews to arrive at the scene and they were quickly able to put out the fire.

In determining exactly who was onboard, investigators say they will first have to find out what airport the plane took off from. Lunsford said, "Because it's a fatal accident the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will be in charge and they've also been notified."
