The Semi-final round of the High School Football playoffs were good for East Texas. Gilmer, Daingerfield, and Tenaha all advanced to play for a State Championship next weekend at Cowboys Stadium. The John Tyler Lions played a thriller against Denton Guyer (will update later, game still in progress) Gilmer plays Friday at 4pm at Cowboys Stadium, Tenaha will play at Noon on Thursday, Daingerfield plays Friday at noon.
