LONGVIEW (KYTX) - A Longview man is jailed after police say he assaulted his family including a two-month-old on Christmas.

Officers say they went to 22-year-old Quinton Darrell Jackson's home twice on Christmas day for assaulting the baby and three adults but he fled before they arrived.

"There was an altercation and someone was holding the baby and the baby got injured as well as the person holding the baby," Kristie Brian said.

When the family called a third assault shortly after midnight Wednesday, Jackson was there and taken into custody.

The infant was taken to Good Shepherd Medical Center.

No word on the extent of the child's injuries.  Jackson was being held Friday on a $10,000 bond.
