Health Alert: Four percent of adolescents admit to planning suicide

(CBS) - Doctors say about four percent of adolescents admit to planning or attempting suicide. Boston researchers talked to nearly 6,500 children and teenagers. They found most suicidal kids have already been diagnosed with a pre-existing mental condition and are receiving treatment.
