TYLER (KYTX) - City offices
will observe the following holiday schedule on Monday, Jan. 21 for Martin Luther
King, Jr. Day.
Holiday Garbage Collection
The Tyler Solid Waste
office will be closed on Monday, Jan. 21. Due to the holiday, residents whose
garbage is normally collected on Monday will have their garbage collected on
Tuesday and residents whose garbage is normally collected on Tuesday will have
their garbage collected on Wednesday. Garbage will be collected on regularly
scheduled days Thursday and Friday. The holiday will not affect curbside
recycling collection.

administrative offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 21. Customers should

The Tyler
Public Library will be closed on Monday, Jan. 21. The Library will resume normal

will be no fixed-route or paratransit service on Monday, Jan. 21. Service will
resume on Tuesday, Jan. 22.
Gallery Main
Street
Gallery
Main Street will be closed on Monday, Jan. 21. The Gallery will resume normal
hours on Tuesday, Jan. 22.
Tyler Parks and
Recreation
The
Tyler Parks and Recreation administrative offices, the Senior Citizens Center,
the Glass Recreation Center and the Goodman Museum will be closed on Monday,
Jan. 21. They will all resume normal hours on Tuesday, Jan.
22.
Tyler Water
Utilities
The TWU Business Office will be closed
on Monday, Jan. 21. Anyone wishing to make a payment can place it in one of the
two available drop boxes. There is one box located in front of the office at 511
Locust Street and a drive-up box in the Brookshire's parking lot on the corner
of South Broadway Avenue and Rice Road. The payment will be credited on the next
business day. Please do not drop cash into these boxes.
