Several East Texas school districts to delay start of school Wednesday

EAST TEXAS (KYTX) - Several school districts in East Texas have confirmed with KYTX CBS 19 that they will delay the start of school Wednesday due to weather related conditions.

The list of schools are as follows:

Etoile ISD 10 a.m.

Mt. Enterprise ISD 10 a.m.

Cushing ISD 10 a.m.

Chireno ISD 10 a.m., Faculty and staff arrive at 9:30 a.m., buses to run 2.5 hours later than normal

Martinsville ISD 10 a.m.

Central Heights ISD 10 am, All school buses will run 2 hours behind their regular schedules

Lanesville ISD 10 a.m.

Hallsville ISD 9 a.m.

Nacogdoches ISD 10 a.m., Busses also will run two hours behind their normal schedule

Frankston ISD 10 a.m.

Palestine ISD 10 a.m.

Slocum ISD 10 a.m.

Neches ISD 10 a.m.

Elkhart ISD 10 a.m. includes bus runs and breakfast

After School Activities (to include tutorials) WILL TAKE PLACE as scheduled this afternoon.

Our Varsity Girls Basketball game will start at 5 p.m., followed by the Varsity Boys (there will NOT be any J.V. games this afternoon).  

All staff members are to be on site no later than 9 a.m. tomorrow. 

Should we need to cancel school all together, a School Messenger alert will be transmitted, and local radio/television stations will be notified if and when that decision is made. 

Marshall ISD 9 a.m., All teachers and staff are asked to be at work no later than 8:30 a.m.

Garrison ISD 10 a.m.

Douglass ISD 10 a.m.

Panola College's Marshall & Center Campuses will be closed Tuesday night

Texas State Technical College 9:30 a.m.

Wells ISD 10 a.m.

Central ISD 10 a.m.

Yantis ISD 10 a.m.

Tenaha ISD 10 a.m.

Hemphill ISD 10 a.m.

Kennard ISD 9 a.m.

Sulphur Springs ISD 10 a.m.

Van ISD will have a two hour delay starting school.
