As the International Builders Show (IBS) opened today in Las Vegas, AxisPointe announced its new “Quality Counts” program for new home builders and commercial contractors, combining traditional third-party forensic and quality assurance services with its new mobile builder tools operating on the iOS platform. Builders use iPhone or iPad devices in the field to capture hundreds of quality assurance metrics selected by the builder from AxisPointe’s proven library of high risk checkpoints.
According to Stan Luhr, CEO, AxisPointe’s InSite Moblie™ platform empowers builders to have complete control over their daily construction activities, leveraging job site superintendents and project managers to be more productive and more accountable for construction risk, safety, storm water pollution control and daily business processes.
“For the first time, builders will have complete access to AxisPointe’s risk library of 4,000 risk checkpoints, as well as OSHA safety compliance and Accessibility metrics,” said Luhr. A “checkpoint” is a positively worded quality metric that improves compliance and also helps measure performance based on its use and duration to cure a reported deficiency.
