(KCEN) -- The Killeen Police Officer who was injured while pursuing suspects in a patrol car has now been released from the hospital. He is doing well.
Charles Raul Torres, 19, has been charged with evading arrest with a motor vehicle used as a deadly weapon.
Torres is being held in the Bell County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
The 32-year-old passenger was arrested for outstanding misdemeanor warrants and was later released.

(KCEN) -- A Killeen police officer was injured today when the patrol unit he was driving was rammed by a suspect in another vehicle.
An officer was patrolling the 200 block of N WS Young around 10:30 a.m. when he located a white Hyundai Azera that had been reported stolen earlier in the day.
When the officer tried to stop the vehicle, which was being driven north and was occupied by two males, the driver refused. A pursuit began.
The suspect led the officer through the houses north of Rancier onto Cole Avenue, where he ran into a patrol unit. The officer inside that patrol unit was injured.
That's when the driver got out of the car and fled on foot around the 1500 block of Duncan. He was apprehended in the 1600 block of Duncan.
The suspects, a 19-year-old male and a 32-year-old male, were taken into custody and taken to the Killeen City Jail.
The officer who was injured was taken to Metroplex Hospital with a head injury and was then transferred to Scott & White where he is in stable condition.
