Two Kilgore Students Killed in Car Accident

14 year old Liradone Bojkaj and 17 year old Mergimtare Bojkaj will no longer be able to put smiles on the faces of their classmates.

Joshua Daniels says he was close friends with Mergimtare.

"Mergimtare was a really good friend of mine. We ate lunch together everyday Sophomore year. She was just good to be around and she will truly be missed" - Daniels, Friend

Texas State Troopers say the sisters were riding with two others and their brother in an SUV on Highway 259--just north of Henderson Sunday.

Troopers say the driver swerved to miss something in the road.

"DPS says the car rolled several times throwing two of the teens outsidE." - Kevin Boyce

Mergimtare and her 19-year-old brother Murteza Bojkaj were both in the backseat.

They were thrown from the SUV. Murteza is in a Tyler Hospital--in ICU--in critical condition.

"We played football together, and got pumped up before every game." - Daniels

Two lives lost in this small community--that now must heal from the pain.

"It's going to hurt a lot of people, it's going to hurt me, I am going to miss you Mergim." - Daniels
