3 Harris County deputies fired for improper sexual conduct in patrol cars

Posted: Updated:

HOUSTON (KHOU) —Three deputies have been fired for improper sexual conduct, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

Robert Johnson, Michael Medina and Adam Wright were terminated for improper conduct that involved consensual sex in one of the deputies' patrol cars.

The woman involved with the three deputies is with the Citizens Police Academy, a group separate from the sheriff's office. It is unclear if the consensual sex with the deputies occurred while they were on duty.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office issued the following statement:

"The Harris County Sheriff's Office holds all of its employees to the highest of standards, as should the citizens. Employees are expected to act in a professional and responsible manner at all times. Any employee whose conduct discredits and dishonors the Sheriff's Office and the uniform he/she wears will be disciplined accordingly. Improper conduct of any kind will not be tolerated."
