On the eve before National Signing Day, two of the biggest names in East Texas changed their minds. Receiver Fred Ross was an Oklahoma State commit but on Tuesday night he switched to Mississippi State and the SEC. His teammate Tyus Bowser was also an Oklahoma State commit at one time but he will now sign with the Houston Cougars on Wednesday.
