LETU to host aviation art exhibit Feb. 18-22

LONGVIEW (KYTX) — LeTourneau University's School of Aeronautical Science is hosting an aircraft-themed art show Monday, Feb. 18, to Friday, Feb. 22, in the Abbott Aviation Center, located at 11450 FM 349 near the East Texas Regional Airport in Longview. The exhibition is free and open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The show will display various types of aviation-related artwork from LeTourneau faculty, staff, students and alumni, including paintings, drawings, and photographs of airplanes and aviators. Additional topics such as air traffic control and aircraft maintenance will be featured. The public will judge each item, with prizes given to the top three winners.

LeTourneau University is an interdenominational Christ-centered university located in Longview, Texas, with undergraduate and graduate programs online and at education centers around the state. 

Academic majors include aviation, business, communication, computer science, criminal justice, education, engineering, health care administration, health science-nursing, human services, kinesiology, the liberal arts, the sciences and psychology.
