Kilgore man charged with DWI after damaging yard

KILGORE (KYTX) - On Monday, resident in the 2900 block of Florence Street called for police service after a vehicle left the roadway and drove through his yard damaging his landscape and a concrete yard ornament.
Corporal Andre Phillips responded and quickly located the vehicle a short distance away with a flat tire. The driver identified as Michael Carrel Manos, 25, of Kilgore, was determined to be intoxicated by police after an initial investigation.
Manos was charged with driving while intoxicated 2nd - misdemeanor and duty on striking fixture/highway landscape - misdemeanor. Manos was booked into the Kilgore Municipal Jail.
