Student injured in morning accident on Robert E. Lee campus

UPDATE: (KYTX) - A student was hit by a car while walking across Robert E. Lee campus Thursday morning.

According to Tyler ISD spokesperson Dawn Parnell, the driver of the car was also a REL student.

The injured student was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries and has since been released.

 

 


TYLER (TYLER MORNING TELEGRAPH/KYTX) - Emergency personnel responded to the parking lot at Robert E. Lee High School Thursday around 8:30 a.m. on a report that someone had been hit by a car.

 

The injured person was removed from the scene by ambulance.

No word on the condition of the person at this time.
