Daughter of Upshur murder victim: 'I had a feeling something was wrong'

Posted: Updated:

GILMER/UPSHUR COUNTY (KYTX) - An update now on the murder investigation in Upshur County.

Eddie Douglas Baker  remains in jail  charged with killing a woman and stabbing two other men.
He is being  held on $1.35 million bond.

Sheriff's investigators say he gave a videotaped statement that he stabbed 46-year-old Tana Fuller Warren and left her body in the back of their trailer home.

Warren's daughter said her mother disappeared Tuesday -- the first night she and Baker had moved into the home on Ginger Road.

"I had a feeling something was wrong when she didn't respond to my texts, and I stayed up for two days looking for her until I actually found what was really going on," said Warren's daughter, Jeanie Creswell.

Investigators have not released the identity of the condition of the two stabbing victims, who were taken to a Longview hospital to be treated.
