Bossier City (KYTX) - What started out as patrol officers chasing and arresting a burglary suspect this morning resulted in the arrests of three others, all suspected of committing multiple vehicle and residential burglaries over the past few weeks.

The first arrest came after officers were called to a house in the 2600 block of Oakley Street at approximately 8:30 a.m. in reference to a burglary in progress. Shortly after officers arrived on the scene a suspect, later identified as Damien Erick Clark, 18, of Bossier City ran out the back of the house and through a portion of the Greenacres neighborhood with officers in pursuit. Clark eventually ran west across Airline Drive, across some railroad tracks and south to the 2900 block of Jeston Circle where a Police K-9 tracked him down in a backyard shed.

Two others, later identified as Breshawn Denise Sweeney, 18, of Bossier City and a 15-year old male, of Bossier City, were found sleeping inside the shed at the time. Officers got them out but Clark refused to comply with officer's commands. He was taken into custody by the police K-9 and treated at the scene by Bossier City Fire Department personnel for a minor dog bit to his leg.

Meanwhile, back at the house on Oakley Street, officers located Anfernee Donnell Stells, 17, of Bossier City hiding in a closet and took him into custody without incident.

Following a day long investigation by detectives with the Property Crimes Unit all four of the individuals were arrested in connection with multiple recent vehicle and residential burglaries. Detectives also recovered several pieces of property taken in the burglaries including firearms and electronics.

Each was charged with the following: Damien E. Clark – nine counts of burglary and one count of aggravated burglary; Anfernee D. Stells – one count of burglary; Breshawn D. Sweeney – seven counts of burglary, one count each of illegal possession of stolen things and illegal possession of firearms; and a 15-year old male – six counts of burglary, one count each of aggravated burglary and illegal possession of stolen things.

The 15-year old suspect cannot be identified since he is a juvenile. He was booked into the Bossier Juvenile Detention Center while the three other suspects were booked into the Bossier City Jail.
