Just a few weeks ago, former Henderson football head coach Dickey Meeks broke our hearts when he accepting the same job at Pittsburg. The heartbreaker becomes a pirate after seven memorable years at the helm of the Henderson lions.

The team went 11-3 in 2011, finishing its season one game short of the state championship. This past season, the lions went 9-5. The lions lost in the 4th round of the playoffs.
