Web Exclusive: Soda for breakfast?

Posted: Updated:

(CBS/CNN) - Apple may be taking a cue from James Bond or Inspector Gadget.  The tech giant is said to be working on a smart wrist-watch.  According to the New York Times, it would run on the same operating system that powers iPhones, iPads and some iPods.  The paper cites an unnamed source who says Apple is experimenting with a wrist-strap device made of curved glass.  Apple has not yet commented on the new device.

Normally, you might not think about a soda for breakfast, but PepsiCo has announced plans to roll out a new fruit-flavored Mountain Dew breakfast drink called "Kickstart."  It's a mix of fruit juice and "Mountain Dew."  A 16 ounce can has 80 calories and 92 milligrams of caffeine.  That's much less than an energy drink or a cup of coffee.  Kickstart is scheduled to hit store shelves February 25th.

There is equality in pharmacy.  It's the most equal job for men and women, according to research by Harvard economists.  Pharmacy is a fast-growing profession, offering a six-figure salary and the pay is nearly equal among women and men.  Women make up slightly more than 50% of all full-time pharmacists.  Once you factor-in part-timers, women make up around 55% of the profession.  Full-time female pharmacists earned a median salary of $111,000 dollars last year.  That's about 92 cents to the dollar of their male counterparts.
