Adam Cook Named Whitehouse Head Coach

It's a new name at head coach in Whitehouse but not a new face. After seven years with the Wildcats -- three of them as offensive coordinator, Adam Cook is the new sheriff in town. With the new title comes much responsibility, especially since he's replacing the program's all-time winningest coach, Randy McFarlin, the man who gave him his very first coaching job.

Coach McFarlin led the Wildcats to three 10-win seasons -- the only three in Whitehouse football history. Despite his winning record, the school board did not renew his contract past the 2012 season. Coach Cook says he has big shoes to fill.

Now that Coach Cook is head coach, players say they can concentrate on the game instead of worrying about outside distractions.
