Injuries happen as fast as college offers come and go. Robert E. Lee senior Taylor Tankersley knows this all too well after spraining his left ankle at the beginning of the summer.
Texas Tech, Creighton, San Francisco and Tulane stopped calling but that didn't stop the team's captain from performing in his final year as a Red Raider.
Tankersley, a three-year starter, is the team's leading scorer. He averages about 20 points per game but he also leads in almost every other category.
The shooting guard has led Robert E. Lee to the playoffs for the first time in years and with that, schools have started to call again -- Oral Roberts, William & Mary, Arkansas State and Wichita State.
