Rangers outfielder Nelson Cruz reported to Texas' spring training Friday and he wasted no time hiding from the media. He immediately spoke out and took questions about the allegations linking him to a clinic that sold performance enhancing drugs.
Cruz and a handful of other players, including Alex Rodriguez, are said to have been clients of a South Florida-based clinic that supplied PEDs to major leaguers. Miami's "New Times" reported the story.
Cruz says he found out about the report, a day before it came out, from his agents. The MLB has launched an investigation and it's currently in progress. Cruz says he has yet to speak with investigators.
