UPDATE: TYLER (TYLER MORNING TELEGRAPH) - A Ben Wheeler man is facing an intoxicated manslaughter charge after an early morning car accident on Sunday.
The accident happened about 1:10 a.m. on Texas State Highway 31 near County Road 1248, according to a news release from the Tyler police Department.
A 2007 Dodge Charger driven by 22-year-old Ramon Duran-Ledesma, of Ben Wheeler, rear ended a 2004 Chevrolet Colorado driven by 56-year-old William Craig Little, of Tyler, the release states.
Little was pronounced dead at the scene, but Duran-Ledesma was uninjured, the release states.
Sgt. Matt Leigeber said Duran-Ledesma was given field sobriety tests at the scene and was taken to East Texas Medical Center — Tyler for a mandatory blood draw.
He was later booked into the Smith County jail on a intoxicated manslaughter with a vehicle charge, a second degree felony.
Leigeber said blood draws are a common practice when an accident is believed to be caused by an intoxicated person.
A detective and accident investigator responded to the scene and the case remains under investigation, Leigeber said.
His bond is set for $250,000.
UPDATE: TYLER (KYTX) - Ramon Duran-Ledesma is charged with intoxication manslaughter, a 2nd degree felony. Duean-Ledesma was booked into Smith County Jail at 7:42 a.m. Sunday.

SMITH COUNTY (KYTX) - Police are investigating a deadly rear-end collision that killed a man Sunday morning.
Investigators say 56-year-old William Craig Little was dead at the scene after his truck was hit from behind by 22-year-old Ramon Duran-Ledesma's car. It happened in the intersection of Highway 31 West and Smith County Road 1248.
Ledesma was uninjured in the accident. Tyler Police have not established a cause for the accident or said whether alcohol was involved.
