Henderson hires new football coach

HENDERSON (KYTX) - Henderson Independent School District hires new head high school football coach to replace former coach Dickey Meeks.

Tuesday afternoon, sources tell CBS 19 Sports that HISD made a decision to hire Corsicana's head football coach Phil Castles formerly of Chapel Hill.

Stacey Sullivan, HISD Dir. of Human Resources/Communications told CBS 19 Sports Anchor Eric Sullivan that "no official decision has been made for who the new Head Fooball Coach will be."

She also said in a day or two a statement will be released from Henderson ISD regarding the football coach situation.
