Kilgore man arrested after leading police on a high speed chase

Kilgore Police Department:

KILGORE (KYTX) - On Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 2:48 a.m. Sergeant Terry Linder responded to assist a Kilgore College Officer who had stopped a vehicle with two intoxicated occupants.

When the Kilgore College Officer asked the driver, identified as 23-years-old Nicholas Scott Cline, of Kilgore, to exit the car, Cline fled in the car.

Kilgore Police pursued the vehicle until Cline lost control and crashed into a field.

Cline was treated for minor injuries at Good Shepherd Medical Center emergency room in Kilgore and was later booked into the Gregg County Jail.

Cline is charged with Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or more a Felony, Evading in a Motor Vehicle and Possession of Marijuana.
