(CNN) - It seems more Americans are concerned about improving their faces instead of their bodies. For the first time in six years, the number of people getting facial work is increasing. The American society of plastic surgeons reports a record number of people had cosmetic treatments in 2012. Injections of Botox were by far the number one cosmetic procedure in the country. Breast augmentation was still the number one cosmetic surgery overall but the number of women undergoing the procedure dropped 7 percent.

(CBS) - A new bracelet-shaped device seems to be providing major relief for people with chronic acid reflux. The device encircles the valve between the esophagus and stomach, keeping the valve closed when someone is not eating or drinking. A study in the New England Journal of Medicine finds it eased symptoms in 92 out of 100 chronic acid reflux suffers and 87 percent stopped using acid-suppressing medications.

(CBS) - It appears child bullying can affect people long into adulthood. Researchers at Duke University found that bullied children are more likely to have anxiety disorders, depression, and suicidal thoughts as adults. Children who were bullies themselves were also at an increased risk of developing anti-social personality disorders years later.
