UPDATE: TYLER (KYTX) - Coby Gipson, Head football coach at Bishop Gorman Regional Catholic School is pleased to announce the hiring of Randy McFarlin as defensive coordinator/associate head coach.

Coach McFarlin comes to Bishop Gorman from Whitehouse where he served as Head Coach for nine seasons, making the playoffs the last seven seasons in a row. "Coach McFarlin is responsible for one of the greatest turnarounds of a program in a 10 year period in the history of Texas High School Football", Gipson stated, "We are blessed to have him on staff".

Coach McFarlin replaces Ronnie Melton who still lives in Atlanta, TX and held that position in 2012.

Coach McFarlin will be introduced to the team this afternoon.

McFarlin will be the new defensive coordinator and is expected to be introduced this afternoon.
