The regional tournaments resume Friday night. Tatum has Jarrell but the Eagles also have Robbie Rockwell. The junior shooting guard hit a career-high eleven threes against Hawkins, leading the Eagles to an 84-41 victory in the Class 2A Region III Bi-District. He finished the game with 38 points.
Tatum's biggest district rival White Oak remains alive in postseason play. The Roughnecks take on Salado Friday. If they win and Tatum wins, it'll be the two teams third showdown of the season. That game is set for noon on Saturday at SFA.
White Oak defeated Tatum twice this season by a combined six points. Their last meeting was decided by one point.
