Two men stabbed at Gregg Co. nightclub

Posted: Updated:

GREGG COUNTY (KYTX) - Gregg County deputies are looking for a man who stabbed two others in the parking lot of a nightclub around 2:30 this morning.

Investigators say the men were fighting inside the Enigma club on highway 31 when the owner asked them to leave. They told deputies a fight ensued in the parking lot and they were stabbed.

The two men saw a Gregg County Sheriff's vehicle on the side of highway 31 and stopped to ask for help.

Deputies say one man had cuts to his neck, back, chest and arms and was taken to Good Shepherd Hospital in Longview. The second man had stab wounds to his face and chest and was flown to Trinity Mother Frances in Tyler. Both men underwent surgery for their injuries, but are in stable condition.

According to deputies, DPS Troopers responded to help as well, and while at the scene a woman driving another vehicle ran into the back of the DPS patrol car. That woman was arrested and charged with a DWI.

If you have any information on the stabbing, call the Gregg County Sheriff's Office.
