Bunny Hunt scheduled for Azalea and Spring Flower Trail

Posted: Updated:

TYLER (KYTX) - This year, Azalea and Spring Flower Trail visitors are once again invited to join the Bunny Hunt. The bunnies last made their appearance along the Trail in 2009.  Due to an overwhelming surge of requests from past hunters, the Convention and Visitors Bureau has decided to bring the hunt back this year.

The Bunny Hunt is a game in which visitors to the Trail download clues as to where five small bunny figures are hidden from TylerAzaleaTrail.com, and then try their luck at locating them along the Trail.  Those who find at least three bunnies are entered into a drawing for prizes.  The more bunnies found, the better the prizes hunters are qualifies to win.

Answers can be submitted online and on most mobile devices, or hunters can pick up an entry form at the Chamber of Commerce and write in their answers.  All entries must be submitted by the end of the Trail on April 7.

Prizes this year consist of a $25 gift card to Chuck E Cheese, a Hollywood Theater fun pack consisting of four movie tickets and two popcorn passes, a $50 gift card to Fickle Baby and a Family Plus annual membership to Caldwell Zoo.

The Family Plus membership consists of unlimited admission for one or two adult members and their children or grandchildren age 18 and under.  An added benefit to this type of membership is the addition of one guest per visit at no charge.

A new twist to this year's hunt is the addition of the Bonus Bunny.  The Bonus Bunny will be hidden along the Trail with the other bunnies, but you can only get clues or submit his hidden location on the Tyler Azalea Trail Facebook page.  Everyone who finds the Bonus Bunny will receive a special treat.

Visitors may obtain Trail information at The Chamber of Commerce located at 315 N. Broadway Monday-Saturday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. from March 15-April 7 with the exception of Easter Sunday, March 31.

Complimentary visitor packets are available by calling 800-235-5712 or at www.visittyler.com. To see current Trail photos like us on Facebook at TylerAzaleaTrail.
