AUSTIN (TYLER MORNING TELEGRAPH) – White Oak Roughnecks punched their ticket into
Saturday's Class 2A final game and a chance at back-to-back state boys
basketball championships with a 69-50 win over Winnie East Chambers
Friday morning.
White Oak (36-1)
trailed only briefly in the first quarter before taking control of the
game behind the forward play of Hayden Nichols who finished the game
with 21 points and Levi Yancey's 16.
Starters Skylar and Slade Sutton had 7 points each. Josh Benson came off the bench and scored 13 for the Roughnecks.

Oak will meet Brock in the championship at 1:30 p.m at the Frank Erwin
Center. Brock defeated Idalou, 56-51, this morning.
