From the Smith Co. Sheriff's Office:
Today at approximately 10:30 a.m., detectives from the Smith County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division and the Children's Advocacy Center completed an investigation of injury to a child, a third degree felony.
The suspect was identified as Rachelle Ann Hartgraves. Mrs. Hartgraves was arrested today at her place of employment, the Smith County Adult Probation Department on Elm Street.
The arrest is the culmination of an investigation that was initiated in 2012 and was recently reinitiated and completed on March 12. The arrest warrant was issued by 114th State District Judge Christi Kennedy.
Bond has been set at $10,000. Mrs. Hartgraves was booked into the Smith County Jail at approximately 10:50 a.m.
