UPDATE: Closed portion of Hwy 69 in Jacksonville back open

UPDATE: JACKSONVILLE (KYTX) - Jacksonville Police Department tells KYTX CBS 19 that the closed portion of Hwy 69 in Jacksonville is back open for traffic.

Quevado Street up to Jeanine Street was closed earlier Monday morning following a car wreck Sunday night that left a utility pole downed in the roadway.

 


JACKSONVILLE (KYTX) - Jacksonville Police Department tells KYTX CBS 19 that a downed utility pole as a result of an wreck has closed parts of US Hwy 69 in Jacksonville.

 

The accident caused a utility pole and the wires to fall into the roadway on Sunday around 10:30 p.m.

Officials have blocked off Quevado Street up to Jeanine Street until further notice.
