TYLER (KYTX) - The Tyler Fire Department responded to an overnight fire involving a gas station at 900 W. Front St.  The initial call was received at 10:54 p.m. and involved a small storage building behind the main structure. The storage building was a total loss.  An adjacent business also suffered damage as a result of the fire.  Five engines and one Ladder Company, along with a district chief and an investigator, responded to the scene.

A store employee reported seeing someone around the structure minutes before the fire.  Fire Investigators are interviewing witnesses and will continue to review area surveillance videos to help determine the cause of the blaze.  No injuries were reported.  The case is being handled by the Tyler Fire Marshal's Office and remains under investigation at this time.  Additional details will be released as they become available.
