Kilgore bigamist sentenced to four years in prison

LONGVIEW/GREGG COUNTY (KYTX) - An East Texas bigamist was sentenced to four years in prison Monday.

Candice Andrade-Garza pleaded guilty to being married to at least five different men in May 2010, according to Gregg County District Clerk records. According to her indictment, Andrade was married to B.Keyser, S. Key, E. Pepper, Q. Garza and B.Culp at the same time.

Gregg County Assistant District Attorney Chris Botto recommended a 10-year prison sentence for Andrade-Garza, while defense attorney Scott Novy asked for probation. District Judge Alfonso Charles settled Andrade-Garza's punishment at four years.
