Web Exclusive: Secret of Apple's TV uncovered?

Posted: Updated:

(CNN/CBS) - Facebook has a major announcement scheduled and it's widely expected to announce a new smart-phone designed with the social network in mind.  Reports in the Los Angeles Times and New York Times say Facebook will unveil a phone built by HTC and running Google's Android operating system.  It would also use special software called "Facebook Home" to fully-integrate the user's profile page and friends into the device.

A new iPhone may also be coming out soon.  The wall street journal says Apple may unveil the iPhone 6 this summer.  No details just yet about the phone's features, but since making its debut in 2007 each i-phone model has included a more powerful processor and better camera.

Are you in the market for a new TV?  A tech industry analyst says Apple is moving closer to launching its own television set.  Brian White of Topeka Capital Markets says the "iTV" will be 60 inches on the diagonal and will go on sale late this year for between 15 and 25 hundred dollars.  White says Apple will also release something called an "iRing" that fits on the viewer's finger, allowing the user to simply point to the screen to control it.

It's official! Jay Leno says he will step down as host of "The Tonight Show" in spring of 2014. NBC confirmed comedian Jimmy Fallon will take over as host.  Leno congratulated his successor. "The Tonight Show" is heading back to New York where Lorne Michaels will serve as executive producer.

It's been 50 years and the Rolling Stones are still at it! the legendary rock band announced they will kick off a "50 and Counting" tour.  Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, and Ronnie Wood plan to rock the crowd with hits like "Gimmie Shelter" and "Jumping Jack Flash."  The band will perform in nine cities across parts of North America.
