Texas Rangers arrest man for posting a threat against a Kaufman Co. assistant DA

KAUFMAN COUNTY (KYTX) - A second man has been arrested for making a threat against the safety of an assistant district attorney in Kaufman County.

On April 4, 2013, the Texas Rangers investigated a threat made via Facebook on a news website during the course of the investigation into the murders of Mike and Cynthia McLelland  arrested 52-year-old Robert Alan Miller, of Terrell.

Miller was charged with Terroristic Threat and is being held in the Kaufman County Jail on $1,000,000 bond according to the Kaufman County Sheriff's Office.

At this time, there is nothing to link Miller to the investigations of the murders of Mike and Cynthia McLelland.

The investigation continues into the murders of the McLellands.
