(CNN) - Are everybody's favorite "Friends" getting back together?  Much to fans' dismay, the cast of "Friends" is apparently not coming back for a reunion special.

Despite many rumors and a lot of Internet buzz, the show's co-creator says it's just not happening.  Marta Kauffman told E! news Tuesday the characters have outgrown that period of their lives and that the show wouldn't make sense anymore.  "Friends" ended in 2004 after 10 seasons.

An Ohio dog is likely alive all because of a cat's bravery. Izzy, a terrier mix, owes her life to Sammy, the family tabby cat.  On Monday, Izzy was attacked by a big dog after wandering out of her yard.  Vets say the bigger dog had Izzy in it's mouth and it's teeth punctured Izzy's abdomen that's when Sammy came to the rescue. The tabby cat puffed up and distracted the dog.  Izzy has serious injuries, but is expected to make a full recovery.

There's a warning this morning to beware of bogus charities trying to profit from the Boston marathon tragedy.  Just hours after the bombings, one scammer set up a twitter account claiming to be associated with the Boston Marathon organization and promised to donate a dollar for every retweet.  Authorities shut it down, but not before the account received more than 50-thousand retweets.  Before you open your wallet, experts recommend sticking with well-established charities and make sure the organization is registered with a state agency.
