Posted: Updated:

(CNN) - Neil diamond announced he'll donate royalties from his song "Sweet Caroline" to help victims of the Boston Marathon bombings.

The money will go to the "One Fund Boston," which had raised more than $23-million dollars for bombing victims as of Wednesday.  Sweet Caroline has been played at every home Boston Red Sox game for more than a decade.  According to Neilsen Soundscan, the song was downloaded more than 19-thousand times this week, putting sales up nearly 600%.  Diamond recorded the song in 1969 in honor of Caroline Kennedy, the daughter of the late President John F. Kennedy.

Gwyneth Paltrow's good looks landed her on the cover of People magazine.  The publication named the actress the world's most beautiful woman for 2013.  Paltrow tells People, when she got the news, she thought someone was playing a joke on her.  Around the house, she says she most often wears jeans, a T-shirt and no makeup.

Zach Braff is making a comeback to the filmmaking game and he's hoping fans will pitch in.  He's raising money through the website, Kickstarter, for a follow-up to the 2004 film he wrote, directed and starred in "Garden State."  Braff made the decision after seeing the Kickstarter success of a recent "Veronica Mars" film.  So why didn't he just use typical financing?  Braff says it would have involved making a lot of sacrifices that he thinks would have ultimately hurt the film.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson tweeted a picture of himself in his hospital bed-- saying the was a success and that "Superman is on the mend." He is recovering from hernia surgery.  The Rock was wearing a Superman T-shirt and flexing his muscles.  Johnson had to miss the premiere of his movie-- "Pain & Gain."   It hits theaters on Friday.
