(CBS) - The Federal Reserve and the job market will take center stage on Wall Street this week. The fed kicks off a two day meeting Tuesday on interest rates. At its March meeting, policy-makers decided to leave interest rates near their record lows until the unemployment rate falls below 6 and a half percent.

(CBS) - So far, so good for the Boeing 787 Dreamliners that have been refitted with reinforced batteries. On Saturday, Ethiopian Airlines became the first carrier to resume Dreamliner service. All Nippon Airways of Japan conducted its first test flight in three-months on Sunday. Regular service is expected to resume in June. The Boeing 787 was grounded around the world in January after some of its lithium ion batteries caught fire.

(CBS) - Are you still trying to figure out what to get mom on May 12th? If you don't know, that's Mother's Day. A new survey finds about 70 percent of people are more worried about what to give mom for Mother's Day than what to give dad for Father's Day. Most expect to spend about $40 on mom. The most popular gift: flowers followed by a gift card and a meal.
