TYLER (KYTX) - John Soules Foods employees have returned back to work after evacuating the building due to a gas leak around 9 Monday morning.

Emergency responders temporarily shut down traffic on FM 14.

According to officials, a 4-inch gas line was accidentally cut by Centerpoint Energy workers in front of the plant.

Employees weren't allowed inside the building for about 30 minutes while the leak was being repaired.

 


TYLER (KYTX) - According to police scanner, emergency crews are on the scene of  major gas leak at John Soules Foods in Tyler.

All employees have been evacuated. Traffic is temporarily shut down on FM 14 near John Soules Foods.

KYTX CBS 19 has a crew en route and will bring more updates as they become available.
