(KYTX/CHEROKEE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE) - Two men are in jail this morning, accused of robbing the Hot Spot #2 Convenience Store in Mt. Selman in Cherokee County.

It happened just after 5:30 Saturday evening. Cherokee County Sheriff's Investigators believe Jeremy Ray Sides pulled a gun on the store clerk and demanded money. Once he got the money, he took off.

A witness says he got into a blue Dodge Durango that to investigators say was driven by Jacob Benjamin Reno.  The SUV was later found in the Troup area. A gun and more than $200 dollars in cash were found in the vehicle.

Both men are charged with aggravated robbery.
