Entertainment News: Knightley weds in France

Posted: Updated:

(CNN) - It was a big weekend for Keira Knightley. The 28-year-old actress and 29-year-old musician James Righton got married. People.com reports it was an intimate ceremony in a small village in southern France. The pair had been engaged since last May.

(CBS) - Aerosmith is among the artists stepping up to help victims of the Boston Marathon Bombings. They, and fellow hometown favorite, James Taylor will lead an all-star roster for the May 30th benefit concert at the TD Garden. Jimmy Buffet and New Kids on the Block will also perform. Tickets go on sale today.

(CBS) - The Stones are rolling across the United States for two more shows this week. The band kicked off its "50 and Counting" tour Friday night in Los Angeles, celebrating half a century of making music. While plenty of seats were still available just hours before the show, some fans are still willing to shell out $600 for upcoming shows to see Mick, Keith and the boys do their thing.

(CNN) - The competition was no match for "Iron Man 3" at the weekend box office. The film, starring Robert Downey, Jr took in $175.3 million dollars in its debut weekend. That's one of the biggest openings ever on record, second only to "The Avengers" last year. The film opened a weekend earlier internationally, and has so far grossed more than $500 million dollars abroad. "Pain & Gain," starring Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne Johnson, came in a distant second, with $7.6 million dollars in ticket sales. And "42," which tells the story of baseball legend Jackie Robinson, rounded out the top three.
