(CNN) - Fans are remembering a soap opera star, who spent 3 decades playing Katherine Chancellor.  Jeanne Cooper died in Los Angeles.  The 84-year-old actress was best known for her role as the matriarch on the "Young and the Restless."  Cooper, who died of an undisclosed illness, had been on the show since 1973.

A Brazilian woman is accidentally shot in the mouth this week with a harpoon.  Investigators say she was in her kitchen with her husband while he was handling the harpoon.  The gun misfired and the spear hit her in the mouth and jaw, and finally lodged in her cervical spine.  She was taken to the hospital and doctors expect her to fully recover.

Madonna is adding to her trophy case.  The material girl will receive the top touring artist award at this year's billboard music awards. She gets the nod thanks to her MDNA tour, which earned more than $300 million dollars in 2012.  The awards ceremony airs on May 19th.

Oops, she did it again. Pop-star, Britney Spears is expected to grace the cover of the June issue "Shape" magazine, reportedly, posing in a white-hot bikini.  Spears, told the magazine, she's been getting into shape with lots of cardio and 90-minutes of yoga twice a week.  The 31-year-old entertainer has an album in the works and is set for upcoming performances in Las Vegas.

Wrigley is pulling its brand new line of caffeinated gum.  It's in response to FDA concerns about caffeine's effect on children and adolescents.  "Alert Energy Caffeine Gum" has as much caffeine as a half a cup of coffee.  The FDA says Wrigley will stop making, selling and marketing the gum, which was introduced earlier this month.
